My great-aunt passed away yesterday morning. I’m sad for me and my family but it’s what she wanted and she’s no longer suffering so I’m happy for her.
The wake is being held Wednesday and Thursday so I won’t be going to Rapture and probably won’t make it to the TES BoD meeting.
She was the last of my grandmother’s siblings. Now, only two in-laws remain from that generation and one of them is slowly losing her cancer battle in a NYC hospital as I type. I know I’ve said this before, but this is the hardest part of having a large family – more people to love, more people to loose.
