"Tats" I've had both cats and dogs, not at the same time though. Each pet has its own charms as well as its own drawbacks. Dogs, for example,do live up to their reputation and are very loyal. They respect your space(unlike cats)and are quite friendly. The drawbacks being:
1.They like to "Mark their Territory" and you know what that means!!! :-)
2.When they turn on you(and they can) because of the size of the average pet dog they can cause mucho harm.

Cats are nice and fluffy and there is nothing better than to have a well behaved cat(most cats are well behaved) curling up on your lap or chest while it is getting its kitty nap. The downside is that the little ctitters are constantly underfoot and without realizing it you might step one one or trip over it. The other major problem is that cats are into mind games, you don't train them they train you. The cat I have now,it's actually belongs to my sister-in-law, has a nasty habit of hesitating before going out the door, the door I'm holding open for him in Wintertime. He's part Persian and part Tabby, we call him Foxy. Are you a dog or cat person? Or are you(forgive the pun)bipetual?

to paw through another person's things is truly a delight. And probably that long ago, they wouldn't have had nanny cams unless they were massively rich, or exceedingly paranoid.

I've found that how a person's desk or dresser is organized says a lot about them, as a person. Mine, for example, is neat and orderly, everything lined up and ready to use.
