gig's going great

The new gig is pretty good so far and it looks like it’ll last at least thru the end of the month. Yipee for my checkbook. Boo-hoo for my social life. Working on-site with a 90 minute commute (each way) is putting a serious dent in the amount of extra curricular fun I get to indulge in. I’m trying to work out a schedule this weekend for some of my fav people so I can make sure to see them at least once this month!

  • Tats, this particular situation, minus the constricted social life, has happened to me twice in the last ten years. Job horizons seem to shrink, but one day, because of the multiple feelers you put out,a bumper crop comes up. With some planning, you should be able to strike what the ancient Greeks called “the Golden Mean.” Your Web design and computer graphics means a lot to you above and beyond what they add to your purse. Judging from what I can gather from this websitethey’re an outlet for your creative energy and visions. This does provide,if not a cushion,at least a recompense for the downside. Some people have jobs, however well paying, that are downright suckface.

PS,What is Tes? Driving is a skill I never picked up soooooooo I depend upon “The Kindness of Strangers” to make long trips. Does tes have a website I could visit?

PPS,That thing I promised you will be in your snailmail sometime Tuesday, having been sent out sometime Saturday.

  • Thanks so much, David.
You can find out more about TES at http://www.tes.org – there’s a link in the huge list on the right. Enjoy!
