There is a sure fire cure believe it or not :)

Form a U shape with your thumb on one side of the U and the rest of your middle finger being the other part. Now place your fingers on each side of your wind pipe under your chin. Basically around your voice box. Now apply pressure upwards and inwards. While doing this try to either hold your breath or breath very steady and shallow. Breathing can overide the effect and let the hiccups thru but sometimes you can get away with breathing while doing it. Normally takes about 30 seconds to cure hiccups but sometimes it can take a tad longer. Repeat as needed.

I'm happy to say the doctor's muscle relaxers worked and my hiccups are gone. Unfortunately, I'm also a little dumb when on them so am avoiding driving and typing until they wear off tomorrow. Good thing I didn't have any big weekend plans!
