I don’t really feel like being social but I have some obligations so I’m going out and am determined to not let my funk infect others. Wish me luck:)
Tonight, I’ll be taking sessions at Rapture from 7pm to 2am.
Tomorrow, I’m working the door for the INTERMEDIATE AND BEGINNER’S BONDAGE WORKSHOP with David Lawrence.
This workshop, taught by David Lawrence author of BOUND Shibari Style Impressions, will be hands on for beginner to intermediate riggers so bring a partner and 4 to 6 lengths of 25 or 30 foot rope. The breast harness & waist harness will be explored as a foundation for more intricate ties. Hogties and simple pleasure ties will be explored. Finally, he’ll show how to tie it all together for an amazing experience.

$10 for members of TES and other SM/leather orgs; $15 for others
After the workshop, I’m going to see a good friend and then we’ll be attending the MAsT Bar Night (in conjunction with NYboL).

Last night, I got in from Pheonix and made it home without incident. After a quick reunion with my folks, Daddy came over and we spent the rest of the night ‘catching up’. I slept through most of today and am spending tonight at Rapture taking sessions and planning my activities for tomorrow night’s TES party. Hope ya’ll didn’t miss me too much! 
I have a bit of a head cold but even that didn’t stop me from bringing in the New Year at Paddles with 180 of my kinkiest friends from TES and DSF. I got to play with blood, see some old friends, make some new friends, be a social butterfly and celebrate with my Daddy, my sister and her friend. Here’s hoping the rest of the year follows in last night’s footsteps!
In other news, Jefferson (a really cute and talented sex-blogger) put up an awesome description of me being a demo-bunny for Lolita’s wax and fire-play class at Dark Odyssey this past September. You know, I still owe Lolita a cherry pin for that day. And if I had even the slightest inkling that Jefferson had the hots for me - I think I would have tried to spend a bit more time with him during that weekend. Do I really look like that girl? Wow. Self-perception is crazy, cruel sometimes.
Once upon a time, about a decade ago, I was in a sex shop with my lover (at the time) and there were a ton of kinky, sexy greeting cards on the wall. Just for kicks, I asked him to pick out one that looked like me and I would do the same. The differences were like night and day. I choose a somewhat zaftig woman in her twenties with a turn of the century photographic style. He chose a modern-day smiling, pretty, athletic beauty in her late-teens. I still don’t think I look a thing like her but I appreciated his choice.
So … Thanks, Jefferson! You have no idea how much you’ve made my day!
I didn’t get to update the blog last night. Instead I drank some wine and caught up on some Tivo’d shows. Sue me:P Tonight, I’m off to the wake. I should be home by midnight but I’ll probably crawl into bed as soon as I get in. My plans for tomorrow include being in front of my machine all day so you’ll probably get an update then. And in update-related news, the bruises on my thighs are *still* trying to fade. The one on my belly is all but gone and the one on my breast is totally gone except for under the biopsy scar. Maybe Daddy will send me the photos from last Monday so I can post them with the update tomorrow.
I have another busy week ahead of me. Here are the highlights…
- Today, going to see Flagg with Daddy before heading into work at Rapture.
- Monday, have two web design meetings. Hopefully they will become clients soon.
- Tuesday, need to write up Prometheus committee report, do my bills, get cat food and other errands.
- Wednesday, going into Rapture at noon for a double shift.
- Thursday, working at Rapture from 12 to 7 then going to the TES Board of Directors meeting at Purple Passion from 8 to 11.
- Friday, Daddy is driving Kimi and me to North Carolina so we can attend NiCE. We’ll be there all weekend, returning on Monday, 11/11/06.
Yesterday, my mom asked me to stay home and help her with the dogs while she gave out candy to the neighborhood kids. We had about 30 trick-or-treaters from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Around 9:45pm, we shut off the lights and broke into the candy. Yum!
Today, my killer headache still didn’t let up - it’s going on three days now - so my dad brought me some pizza for lunch. He’s such a nice guy! How he wound up with my mother … just kidding! (mostly)
Tonight, I did some laundry and answered some long-overdue emails. If I didn’t get back to you yet, I’m sorry and I will, just please be patient a little longer. I’m off to Rapture tomorrow and wont be home again until Saturday.Â
Speaking of the weekend, does anyone want to go to SlaveToLust in Brooklyn on Saturday night? I’m hoping to go with the family and maybe drum up some clients. Wish me luck!
My first two days at Rapture were really fun. I’ve meet most of the ladies and they’ve all been wonderful. I got to play with blood, balls, beatings and so much more - and that was just the training! I can hardly wait until I get to play with the clients!

If you haven’t already heard, I’ve got myself a new gig working as a pro-domme at an awesome NYC house. Tomorrow is my first day and I’m totally nervous and very psyched! How cool would it be to make a living doing what I love to do in my spare time?! Now, if ony I could figure out how to avoid lying to my parents while not disappointing them with the truth at the same time. So far vague avoidance has been working but I can’t keep that up forever. Oh well, all due things in time (or something like that). Wish me luck!
