Getting better

Today wasn’t so bad. I could feel the depression lifting and settling back in from time to time but overall it was better. The no-smoking thing is still really hard. I guess that’s probably a given but I feel like I need to keep saying it. <shrugs> This week will be better still. I have a few really hot dates set up and plan to stay busy as much as possible without dropping from exhaustion. Think good thoughts for me. I’ll try to write more on Thursday when I have a few minutes to myself.

Still hiding from the world

I “slipped” today and indulged in 4 cigarettes in less than 2 hours during and immediately following an extremely stressful bridesmaid-related event. I put slipped in quotes because I really want to just go buy a carton and admit that I’m just a huge loser with no self-control, but I haven’t cracked and bought any. I don’t have any fingernails left and I think I cleaned the grocery store out of all their ice-cream, but I haven’t given in to tempation yet. Shit I wish this didn’t suck as much as it does. I’m going to go cry in the shower now and try not to bang my head into the wall out of sheer frustration. Guh

Back to Rapture on Monday

I’m going to play hookey from my day-job on Monday, 5/7 and after another interview in the city Monday morning, I’ll be taking sessions at Rapture from 1pm – 7pm.

Slight change in plans

Due to the rain & flooding issues on Friday, I rescheduled my interview for tomorrow (Monday) at the same time & place. I’m not really sure I want the job but I need the interview practice. If they offer me the job, I’ll have some tough choices to make. Until then, I’ll try to focus on impressing the hell out of them.

The rest of my week is about typical. I know I still owe ya’ll a DOSF post and I swear it’s coming. Perhaps I’ll write it tomorrow night while Kimi and Daddy are at their Dojo.

Still kicking

A quick update to let you know that I’m still here, just VERY busy. Tonight I went to NYC’s Pleasure Salon to meet up with some folks from DOSF and wound up meeting a few new people too. Overall, a really nice evening:)

Now, I’m off to bed so I can get up for work tomorrow morning and then head to an interview tomorrow afternoon in upstate NY. Wish me luck – kinda ;)

Another yummy weekend

Last night I got to spend some yummy time with a good friend who I haven’t seen for months. I brought him a present just cause I saw it and thought of him and he got me a present too! Gotta love that! :) Darling, if you’re reading this, thank you again! I can’t tell you how much that soft, smooth rubber means to me. Of course, you could probably tell from all of the screaming… Hehehe! :)

Tonight, I finished my notes for the Prometheus Summit Meeting tomorrow night and told the story of my exploits at DOSF to Flagg, Kimi and Soulhuntre. Now all I have to do is write them down and change the names to protect the guilty. ;) Another time – now I’m off to catch some sleep and prepare for another week on the job.

Another busy week ahead

A quick overview of the week ahead:

  • Tonight I’m going to spend some time with a friend I haven’t seen in months! Two busy people and many rescheudled meetings = months between trists :(
  • There’s a nor’ easter heading this way so I’m going up to Kimi & Daddy’s place tonight so I don’t have to deal with the weather tomorrow or Monday morning before going back to the freelance day-job.
  • Monday night is the Prometheus Summit Meeting at TES. I still need to work up an agenda and finalize my arguements – they’re on tomorrow’s to-do list.
  • Tuesday I’m planning to come back home for a puppy play date and a night in bed with my kitties. It’s amazing how much I miss my animals during the week!
  • Wednesday I’m going to help Mistress Trish pierce her slave’s ears.
  • Thursday there’s a benefit for the MS Prision Project at Arena Studios in NYC.
  • Friday I’m coming back home to see my animals and destress from the week of running around.

At this rate I have to wonder when am I going to get to cash in my rain checks? <sigh> not enough hours in the day!
